Two Children Unexpectedly Die at Miami Children's Hospital

On March 17, 2009, a second baby died while in the care of Miami Children's Hospital in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Both deaths have been termed "mysterious" by hospital officials and the hospital has not said whether the babies were in the hospital's neonatal unit, how young they were or their cause of death.

The hospital's infectious disease team is in the process of determining whether an infection is to blame for the unexpected deaths. While the tragedies are sorted out, doctors have stated they will not refer patients to the neonatal unit at Miami Children's Hospital.

If your child or a child of someone you know has become ill, or if a loved one has died as a result of an illness, you can contact an attorney at Freidin Dobrinsky or by calling 1-866-495-8060. Our personal injury attorneys are here to help, and will answer your questions free of charge.
